It's one of the most important
lessons your child will learn. There are good people and bad people in the
world, and it is crucial that they can make that distinction and are comfortable
telling someone when an adult treats them inappropriately. Here are a few
basics that could help you help your child in a difficult situation.
What
is a Stranger?

person you don't know.
·
Some
strangers know your name and your parents' names.
·
Some
strangers are older children or teenagers.
·

can be strangers too.
·
Strangers
can be well dressed and drive nice cars.
·
Not
all strangers are bad, but it's best not to take chances.
Sometimes
adults hurt children or touch them in ways that they shouldn't. Here's
what you should do if this happens to you!

No!
You can so "No" to adults who want to hurt you or touch you.
·

Away!
